NOSY  CHILD  .  hazel  eyes  to  flicker  upon  scene ,  commotion ,  not  trusting  ,  no  ,  that’s  too  much  ,  but  with  an  abstaining  kind  of  morbid  curiosity  of  the  other  ;  but  never  in  the  EYE  .  a  taunt  .  a  dare  .  COME  CLOSER  ,  tell  her  off  for  being  so  damn  rude  ---  as  if  she’s  merely  just  trying  to  egg  them  on  .  ❛   sorry   ...  i  did  ...  ❜  head  cants  to  the  side  ,  gauging  a  reaction  , 

❛    not  mean  to  stare  .  ❜   EVEN  THOUGH  ,  she  quite  clearly  had  .

❛    ah  .  i  failed  .   ❜   TO  BE  EXPECTED  ,  with   having  been  out  sick  for  longer  than  deemed  necessary  ,  hand  trembling  around  history  test  ,  crinkling  corners  in  calloused  hands  as  she  closes  her  EYES  .  how  father  will  have  her  head  for  this  .  she  tries  not  to  think  about  it  ,  ice  to  replace  whatever  quirk  of  a  smile  on  her  features  before  she  smooths  the  paper  out  on  her  desk  .  small  leg  is  bouncing  anxiously  ,  eyes  closed  gently  in  thinking  of  a  solution  ---  but  nothing  to  come  to  my  mind  .
