5. Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
mm .. sort of. her parents believed firmly in the idea that “ experience is the best way to learn a lesson " & so that’s what they let misora do. they believed that she’d learn things at her own pace — however, they weren’t absent parents. they gave her nudges along the way, you know — encouraged her. but they knew that if the experience would benefit her, they wouldn’t interfere. now, they never let her do anything to hurt herself extensively & they never let her make any stupid decisions that could ruin her life in the long run, but then again misora hasn’t ever made any stupid decisions due to her rational & calm demeanor.
if she ever got hurt, her parents would be right there to protect her. they’d be there to help her & care for her, but her parents believed that there are just some things you have to learn on your own. i hope that makes sense?
10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
she’s definitely extremely intelligent. she takes her time — she’s analytical, & she knows how to get things to pay out in her favor. she’s persuasive but very honest. she’s book smart because she spends so much time reading data & books & paperwork. she’s street smart because as a shinobi, that’s just something you learn — but this also comes back to her being very persuasive & knowing her way around.
she’s intellectual as well, she thinks deeply & such — but if there’s anything she’d be not so adept with in this area it is intellect. she’s scientific about things, & so she doesn’t tend to waste her time looking for the meaning in everything when not everything has a meaning ( in her opinion ).
15. Did they graduate? High-School? College? Do they have a PHD? A GED?
well, in order to be a shinobi you have to graduate from the academy, so yes. in the modern verse, she is currently in university, studying to be a doctor ! B) i’d tell you guys what kind of doctor but i can’t remember right now, lmao.
20. What were the most deeply impressive political or social, national or international, events that they experienced?
well, she was just a child during the war. but, it still affected her clan & family — resources in the village became quite limited, & the village was all but obliterated afterward. her family struggled to build their home again, & the clan’s compound had been almost completely destroyed; but somehow, they got through it with help from other clans & villagers. so, i’d say that’s probably the only big event that she’s experienced that has affected everyone across fire country.
25. What are their hobbies and interests?
she likes to garden with her mother. on their clan’s compound, they have a little garden that they take care of whenever spring rolls around. they grow all their own fruits & vegetables, which misora’s cousins sell in the village market daily. misora also loves to read, specifically science fiction & dystopian fiction ( idk if they have those in the nar world?? i mean, i’d assume that they would maybe?? hm ). she also loves mystery & crime fiction; & she really enjoys reading her medical textbooks that sakura gave to her.
