Backstory Questions (Accepting)
Sanae Sekiyaba (Mother) Quirk: Forcefield. She could create forcefields around herself. She was a nurse. She was 39 when she died.
Yuji Sekiyaba (Father) Quirk: Energy Synthesis. He could create a sort of glowing plasma energy in his hands. It was warm and had a sort of numbing effect when used on another person. He was a doctor. He was 40 when he died.
⭕ Having her parents in the medical field meant that her parents were both intelligent people, and she was really well taken cared for. They also were both very busy so she spent a lot of time with her older siblings. Kanako was only three when the incident happened, so she doesn’t really remember thatm uch, but up until then, she was pretty well cared for, and very loved.
Takara Konosawa (Mother) Quirk: Luster. She basically could make anything shiny. It wasn’t really the most useful quirk outside of specific instances, but it served her very well as a jeweler. She died when she was 34 after Ryuta took her hand. She had similar golden tips to her fingers like her son.
Kei Konosawa (Father) Quirk: Chromatic Conversion. He basically could change the color of objects. He was a stay at home father and doted on both his kids.
👑Ryuta was well loved by his dad and they were pretty close, since he was the primary child care provider. Ryuta’s family was well of enough for Kei to not have to work, so Ryuta didn’t ever really want for anything. He loved his mom also, but she was also pretty busy so she didn’t spend quite as much time with him as Kei did. All of this made Kei abandoning Ryuta after what happened all the more painful.
Makota Shoguru (Father) Quirk: Heat Retention. He could absorb heat from something like fire or light and hold it in his body. He was a farmer. He was 29 hen he died.
Ren Shoguru (Mother) Quirk: Scrub. She could ‘purify’ things with touch. Things like water, mostly. She worked on her husband’s farm and took care of their son. She was 29 when she died.
☢️ Shohei doesn’t really recall his childhood very much, but he spent a lot of time with both his parents since they worked essentially from home. His parents were both hardworking and well meaning people. Shohei hasn’t hat the opportunity to show it, but he’s the same way.
