...i kind of ship prom queen/doucheface; how did they pull that off??
you know what i really loved about the asher+oliver/connor scene this week
oliver/connor’s relationship and their lives and their plotlines are not centered on oliver’s HIV status
they do other things
they have other concerns
they offer other elements to the show
specifically: oliver offers characters besides connor things that are concrete and tangible and relevant, and it has nothing to do with his status
that is super cool and i hope there’s more of it, both on htgawm and in media as a whole, because an HIV+ character getting to stay a whole character with full and rounded development and life/concerns outside of their status is SUPER GREAT.
