Geiger can’t really seem to catch a fucking break.  In the prison the first go around, it was hell.  But at least it was consistent.  When he’d been with the villains, it was simultaneously worse and better- he felt sick all the time since they couldn’t adequately subdue his radiation levels, but at least he had the constant encouragement that the world was going to change.

But now, he’s pretty much back where he started.

The two kids were released to UA’s care, but Geiger was still being labeled as a threat, so he was being contained in a holding facility erected on UA’s Campus.  Just another fucking prison.  Though, he’d be lying if he didn’t think this was the best accommodation he’d been given of the three.  It didn’t look like a prison cell on the inside, with a proper bed and full sized bathroom.  Food was still brought to him, but it was better than anything he’d ever eaten before- even if he had no idea what any of it was.

And the treatments for his radiation were effective, but still pretty unpleasant.  But that’s probably not something that can be avoided, when you need to be submerged in freezing water.

But one thing is the same, and that’s the way people are treating him.  Keeping him at arms length, never staying around him too long, rarely saying anything more than ‘here’s your food’

At least with the others he had company sometimes.  The kids or Spinner would visit him in his little concrete hell.  But lately, he’s heard mumbles of people coming to talk to him.  Who exactly, he wasn’t sure.  He was expecting some sort of doctor or scientist but it was... A young woman.  A hero, apparently.  She’d asked him a lot of questions, most of which he didn’t answer.  He finally told her that if he was trying to get him to tell her more about the villains plans that she should save her breath since they never told him anything.  And he went on to tell her that he’d been broken out of prison only to be shoved into another one.  And he said she couldn’t understand that.

She isn’t contesting him.  Good move.  He’s heating up a bit, causing the sprinkler system on his side of the room (separated by lead infused glass), letting cold water drip down onto his body.  He wipes at his brow with the stub where he once had a hand.  “Why would you do that?” He asks, voice rough and hoarse, “Why bother?  Nothing’s going to change.”

Shohei really liked it when he ended up in Spinner’s room late at night like this.  His own room is so uncomfortable, with his sleeping bag and the concrete walls and floor... Spinner’s room is more like an actual room, with a bed, and windows that let light from the moon outside into the room.

He’d come to keep him company while he played video games on his little handheld game thing, though mostly for him, it was just an opportunity to lay close to him.  As the hours drew on and it grew dark, Spinner had eventually put his game aside and put his attention to Shohei, who was eager to be the object of that attention.  

Laying side by side,  legs tangled together in such a way that brought their hips together, gently bumping and grinding as the kissed.  Spinner’s hands are under Shohei’s shirt, palming the warm skin.  And he enjoys it, Shohei can’t get enough of the feeling of Spinner’s hands on him... but as it often does, his brain is thinking of a few things, besides what’s currently happening.

“What are you watching?”  Shohei asks Husk, who’s reclining on a couch looking at a cell phone. “Oh, It’s this thing Aki wanted me to watch.  Wanna see?”  Husk asks, “I think you’ll like it.” “Sure.”  Shohei doesn’t even think about what he might end up seeing.  Whenever Spinner showed him things on his phone it was always a cool picture, or a video of someone with swords.  What he saw was... Neither of those things. Neither of the men say anything as they both stare down at the tiny phone screen, in which a woman is being tied by the wrists to a bed.   “What is this?”  Shohei asks, forgetting to be disgusted or angry. “Some American movie.”  Husk muses, “I think Aki’s dropping hints.”  Husk looks at the younger man, quirking a brow.  “Ya like what you see?”

“Hey-”  Shohei pulls back from the kiss, only to duck his head against Spinner’s neck, kissing them there a few times.  “I... Er... I saw something today and...I wanted to.. try it..”  He clears his throat.  “It... It’s a sex thing.”  He says awkwardly, as if that wasn’t obvious.  He untangles himself from Spinner and reaches off the side of the bed for the jacket he’d worn upstairs, which he’d worn specifically so he could conceal the thing he wanted to try.  

He fumbles for a moment, hand finally closing around what he’s looking for.  He’d actually found it in a supply room, lucky him.  He sits back up on the bed, a long red and black nylon rope grasped in his hands.  He gestures for Spinner to sit up and he pulls a length of the rope out.  “It was this... I think It was a movie that Husk was watching...”  He mumbles, clumsily tugging the rope between his one organic hand and the prosthetic he’d been outfitted with recently.  He was still getting the hang of it, but he was pleased with it, happy to have full mobility with his hands again.

“In it, someone got.. tied up..”  He swallows, “I don’t... Really want to be tied up but..”  He tugs the rope between his hands again and it makes a snapping sound.  He shudders, remembering the movie scene.  His eyes fall on Spinner, and then he looks to the bed posts on the headboard.  “...I’d like to see you, like the person in the movie..”

“My mom used to say that.”  She laughs, taking a sip of her tea, “I always thought it was a nice sentiment but not really for me.  I was one of those ‘old soul’ types.”

“So, you told the boys club, huh?”  She muses, “Did Hizashi tease you like he thought we would?” She pulls him down for a kiss, hands cupping his cheeks.

“We still have to lock my office door when you come by though.  I’m glad everyone knows about us now, but If Shouta walks into my office like he did last week again, I think I’ll die.”
