“Tin Pin” Hanekoma
A little lot insight!
- Like the Hane “brand” he has the same laid back swagger, the artistic ability, a high angel from the Higher Plane, all that stuff. Physical differences are mostly in his hair style and round rim sunglasses.
- However what sets him far apart from his counterparts is the timeline he’s in. Another Day is basically the happiest ending you can get in the TWEWY timeline. THE BEST CASE SCENARIO, everything that can go right DID resulting in a parallel where everyone is alive and comfortably living in normal everyday Shibuya, Tokyo.
- But to do this was...not easy. The concept of canon timelines is that human strife and all that results in things like Noise, the UG, Games, etc. Hane here has already witnessed what canon parallels look like and how it happened. This is where he decided yeeaaah, how about no.
- So in comes a massive Imprinting technique that had a universal scale. Keep people distracted with something neat, fun and addicting and viola! Misery doesn’t get to the point that leads to canon timeline situations. In this case the distraction was TIN PIN and this is why this world is quite attached to the concept. Its like Pokemon but even MORE popular then that.
- He has to keep this up though. There’s never a moment where he’s not in a sort of Imprinting/brainwashing kind of mode so that if any smallest event that could lead to a big disaster can be changed instantly!
- This takes a lot of power and energy though as expected. It’s about 80% of all his effort which leads to an...angelic....narcolepsy? Of sorts. He can literally be actively talking to someone at the shop with coffee or walking somewhere and then suddenly just fall asleep. Like:
Yeah. But ya know, people here just think thats a “funny quirk” of his.
- So while in his universe he’s the strongest thing there, compared to other Hanekoma or even certain Game Masters he’s....pretty weak. He cant even shift into Panthera Cantus for longer then a few moments before wiping out.
- But to have a literal slice of paradise it’s well worth it. The only thing he really has to look out for is other dimensional threats entering in. A certain canon Joshua Kiryu ( not his Joshua whos actually a well off teen and goes to school ) hopped in one day and pretty much gave him a heart attack before he can be put back. Which is why he’s very stringent on letting anyone from the outside in. Cant have paradoxes like two of the same people meeting or itll break the illusion.
So far though? Things have been okay here....for now.
