It's simultaneously the most exciting and nerve-wracking days of the month whenever Tomas sets up a stall at the market. Exciting for the fact that he'll get to make whatever he wants for a change, a selfish little indulgence from the familiar comfort people expect from Barley & Rye, but terrifying thinking about interacting with customers, and buckling under the pressure of people haggling. He only does so for one weekend a month, once the bakery was good to be on their own by opening, Tomas brings his more.. unique menu options out to the market. A space where he could try new things without worrying about it ruin the business at the bakery. But the next best thing about being at the market was the privilege to browse the vendor stalls just right before opening to find new ingredients and the freshest of the day, and get inspiration for R&D for the next month's slate. And first stop, it was always Tadhg's!

"Tadhg, good morning!" There was just a soft chirp like a bird as Tomas skipped over to his friend's stall from across, a muted excitement brimming as dark drown eyes greeted the other before eyeing his beautiful range of products, "how was this batch of honey? The last one I got from you was amazing, um- wanted to make sure I stock up before the winter."
