hey guys , i know we are all seeing plenty of petitions and working on doing right by the black community .
that’s why i’d like to bring forward something that’s been triggered in australia by the current events in america : ( i haven’t seen any links floating around for this yet )
david dungay was an aboriginal man killed whilst in australian police custody in 2015. “i can’t breathe” were his last words, as well as him begging to please be let off the ground he was pinned to by the police.
mr dungays family recently spoke up, after seeing the video of george floyd being murdered, and said they were saddened and reminded incredibly of what had happened to david dungay, years ago.
please sign this petition to bring forward justice, and charges for mr dungays senseless murder.
australia is fighting for justice of black lives, and indigenous lives . after years of ignoring it — we simply cant anymore: black people are being murdered in our backyards too, at alarming rates. all of us can’t be free and equal, whilst the black community suffers in every country.
