ariel had been running full pelt to one direction, dodging uprooted tree roots and fallen branches — her heart was thundering and she was very much running on adrenaline. it was much later when she realised that those in her group were nowhere to be seen, and she was alone. a light fear gripped her insides, and ariel tried her best to keep moving, surely someone was looking for them! suddenly, a head of bright blonde flashed in her line of vision. “hey! hey you— bastiaan?” she rushed forwards, very much glad to see a familiar face. “are you alright?” ( @bastivvn )
