why do we always feel the need to comment on things that we actually don't know shit about?
yes rashford said that without consulting the manager but maybe there's a reason for that? it's so easy to point the finger at the player, saying he did wrong, that he should be grateful playing for a club with such a history but we don't really know what goes on behind the scenes.
this isn't just about rashford, it has happened so many times the past few years. lets take mount for example, we didn't know the whole story and we still don't know all of it, but that didn't stop so called supporters to blame him for everything when all of it points to the club and mount not being on the same page for his contract and future at the club, as they offered weekly wage of £254,000 and also put a £88.9m release clause into the proposal, extending his stay for only another 12 months. looking at that and knowing chelsea needed money, it looks pretty clear (imo!!) that they wanted him gone and that also adds up with what mount said about him not being chelsea’s plans moving forward.
please answer honestly, if what has been said is true, would you have accepted the proposal mount got? i can honestly say, having been at the club for almost 20 years, i wouldn't.
anyways, the point of this rant is that we are soo good at jumping to conclusions and that needs to stop. yes we support the clubs and no player is bigger than the club, but at some point we need to realise that clubs aren't perfect and that they do fucked up shit to players, so stop hating the players all the time because in some cases it's not their fault.
