May i ask your thoughts on the dynamic of Beron/Kirsi? 👉👈🥺
i'll tell ya Hwhat beron/kirsi would be extremely horny For Me (and also beron) but a liiiiiteral horror movie nightmare for kirsi. pure darkfic fodder. because beron as a whole doesn't do well with kirsi's specific wombo combo of 1) a well-bred and proper but defiant female 2) in a position of power 3) that bars him from something he wants. he loves to remind defiant females of their place. he loves to exert his power and control and take things. he loves to get what he wants. (which in this situation would be those contentious borderlands of winter and autumn that kirsi rules over.) there are so, so many ways to do these things, and the most gratifying for him are psychosexual. but the thing with kirsi is that he’s bound by rules of propriety, and if he pushes her too hard, he certainly won’t achieve his goals. except—he is a high lord. rules do not and should not apply to him.
especially not when it comes to a female who is well-bred and proper but defiant only when it comes to him.
i think the most fucked up crunchy dynamic would be in a kirmine timeline. kirsi belongs to his son. beautiful, unflappable, infuriating kirsi, who stands bodily between him and her lands. beron is so frustrated. his frustration grows every time he sees her. eventually, he thinks: the rules of propriety bind me—but only if she remembers them being breached. autumn fae with forests full of fun, diverse mushrooms; winter fae whose intolerance to heat manifests itself as a sensation of melting, of loose, intangible thoughts and pliable, liquid bodies. beron makes sure carmine is busied—makes sure her plate is singularly cooked during a banquet, a generous helping of those fun mushrooms to soften and drowse her mind. the heat of him does the rest when he comes to her that night. she doesn’t remember. beron does. and that makes him uhhhh want more !
