though there was no curfew for the students, frank still seemed to feel the need to rush back on week nights. maybe it was just habit, or maybe it was secretly because he never could deny a good early bed time, but either way he was always speeding. having just floo-ed in from a night of a little studying in hogsmeade, frank began down the hallway. noticing he had a loose shoelace, however, he stopped in a doorway to fix the issue. probably not the brightest spot, but he figured not many people were out roaming on a tuesday night. he stood corrected, however, when he noticed a presence approaching. he akwardly tried to tie his shoe faster, resulting in failure. tsking, he shifted over. “ sorry, i’ll be out the way in a moment, ” he apologized with a half-smile. the smile quartered out when he glanced up, seeing the all-too-familiar face.
