I think one of my favorite ways to express my queerness is, weirdly, clipping my carabiner of keys (and various other useful things that i keep on my keychain, like a measuring tape and nail clippers that more frequently are used to cut yarn) to items of my clothing. When I’m feeling more masc or like when my whole outfit is high femme and i’m feeling more mixed, I’ll clip them to my belt loops or if i’m wearing one of my favorite pairs of pants, i’ll clip them to this little strap thing right by the pocket. If I’m feeling more femme or my whole outfit is more masc but I’m feeling mixed or just if i don’t have belt loops, I’ll pull my shirt to the side a little and clip them to my bra strap. sometimes i’ll even do that when i’m wearing my cargo pants which is fun because i clearly have enough pockets so the keys on the bra strap are purely for Extra Queer Power
