Of all days he really didn’t need this today. You would think the simple task of locking up the garage for the night would be a no brainer - he’d been doing it for nearly seven years. And yet here he stood, trying, with what little strength he had left in him after the long day, to pull down the heavy external security shutters. Taking a small jump towards the handle, Sean fell back down to his feet with a thud, the shutters once again only shaking a little - no where close to falling to their closed position. “Stupid piece of shi-” he exclaimed, throwing his fist out to the metal, his temper taking over. He quickly pulled his hand back when the sting of an unexpected cut registered with him. Looking down to his hand he spotted the long cut across his knuckles. “Great. Absolutely great...” He sighed.

Melody really didn’t have much money to speak of and she flat out refused the offer of both Donnie and Sonny giving her money towards a dress for the dance. Ball. Whatever you wanted to call it. She’d taken what she managed to save up from the odd little jobs of babysitting for the neighbors and went out and hit the thrift shops, finding a cute red dress with silver accents. Seeing as Mickey was the only one of the other two partners that wasn’t working, she dragged him out to stores to go shopping for anything else they may need. “So, where to first Mickey?” Looping her arm through his, she started walking.
Donnie had gotten their first ever legal paycheck and after cashing it, they immediately went to buy Mickey his birthday presents that he had on hold for him and shoving them into a bag with some blue tissue paper that Melody had suggested. Donnie remembered that Mickey said he was going to be at the library so that’s where they went, easily finding Mickey reading in a secluded part by himself before they snuck up behind him and dropped the bag down onto the table in front of him. A book on English sentence structure that they remembered their boyfriend saying he wanted to get better in along with a card that had the words happy birthday very sloppily written in Russian along with a little key chain of a sundae in memory of their first date. “Hey you. Happy birthday. Again. I finally managed to get your presents.” Donnie’s hair was tied back in a rather sloppy ponytail, some strands having fallen out of it on their trek here. Wrapping their arms around Mickey, they kissed his cheek before sitting down next to him.

Trinity had texted Shaun, told him that she would meet up with him later because during her lunch she was going to go track down her brother and talk to him about living arrangements. She figured he would be at work, since he did want to make actual money and didn’t want to get fired either. Stepping into the garage, she cleared her throat. “Charlie, can you take your lunch now? I need to talk to you.”

guys I love my little so much
Was showing a new person at work the ropes and as I was explaining how to do something they said 'Ok are you just explaining this to me or are you asking me to do it?'
And I just think it's such a simple way of asking for clarification that would have made my life so much fucking easier if I had been able to vocalise it in school/work etc. idk man it just stuck with me
