Broke: Julieta isn’t seen that much in the movie so we don’t know that much about her and that makes her a boring character

Woke: Julieta’s lack of screen time was a possible creative (and clever) choice to help represent her family dynamic role of the caretaker, a role where one helps and puts others before themself and tries to keep the peace. We almost only ever see her healing others or trying to smooth things over with family members, and just like a caretaker does in their own family, never has moments that are meant for herself, keeping to the background so as to not stir up any trouble until needed once again to help someone else out.

#I hope this makes sense since I am writing it out at an ungodly hour #and yknow what?? what we do get of her DOES make her interesting and loving so screw anyone who thinks she’s boring #she’s a cool character without having to explain this #but also I am think extensively about Julieta at this time time of 3am and her family role #as well as the fact that she’s definitely a dawn trauma role too #*fawn #encanto #julieta madrigal
