ayanna can cook well enough to survive. they’re definitely not a chef, but they can whip up something homey and good, and they bake a mean blueberry muffin. no kitchen disaster stories, purely by chance.
marco is in fact, a gourmet chef. as soon as he graduated, he went straight into culinary school and worked to spend a summer abroad for an internship. he has experience in pastries, but he prefers not to work with them. culinary school came with many kitchen disasters, his most proud disaster being the time he set a towel on fire ( first strike ) and put it out with sugar instead of salt. his professor never let him live that one down.
femi can cook and bake, comfort food is her favorite but she rarely finds herself with the time to do either. her mom started her cooking as soon as her motor skills were developed enough, so unless you count those first ( literal ) baby steps, there’s no disasters to be found with her.
🍔 - What kind of food does your muse usually eat? Do they have a favorite food, or favorite style of food? Do they have allergies? Are they vegan, vegetarian, etc.?
ayanna eats whatever is available, take out, left overs, quick meals that are easy to make. anything else requires excessive planning on her end, which she'd rather avoid. her favorite food is persian, specifically anything their baba makes. luckly they have no food allergies. they have no dietary restrictions.
marco usually eats home cooked meals, some staples being pasta and homemade pizzas for the kids. his favorite food is all food, being that he loves to eat anything at least once. he has no food allergies or dietary restrictions.
femi usually eats lots of fresh fruits and veggies, prioritizing a pescatarian lifestyle. if you ask her what her favorite food is, she'll tell you anything her mama makes. she's allergic to cashews, but no other nuts and has a dairy intolerance.
🧸 - Does your muse own any sentimental objects from their past? What makes it/them so special?
ayanna is not the sentimental type, despite how they come off. the only thing they could consider "from their past," is a quilt made by their ex that's simply "too soft to throw away."
marco has a cigar box full of memories from his college years, containing of mostly movie and concert tickets, old photobooth strips, and letters written between old friends.
femi has a necklace that her dad gave her when she was fourteen. while it likely has no real value, considering his methods for getting this necklace were likely questionable, it's one of her most valued pieces and she keeps it in the front of her jewelry box to this day.
