it’s so strange to me because on the one hand I completely understand everything people say about dating apps (impersonal, feels like shopping for people 😬, people like to get more interactions, grotesque way to try to meet people, etc) and like in principle I mostly agree. however. I do have the most radically successful dating app story to every happen. so there’s that.
#joined one just to prove to everyone it wouldn’t be work#connected to my future husband inside of a week#he was the only guy I went on a date with#like 10 days after joining I paused my account because we were dating#like….I sometimes feel like I should write the app and tell them but I don’t think they’d even believe it worked that well#I mean it was clearly God’s hand in all that but apparently He used the dating app to make it happen#stranger things have happened and all that I guess#anyway I was married within 18 months and we had our first child before our 2nd anniversary#by our forth anniversary (Lord willing) we will have two beautiful little girls and be well on our way to filling up the house#*fourth#anyway posts with a target audience of me but so sorry to everyone experiencing the horrors of dating apps
