thinking about when abbott was new + oprah sent quinta brunson a bouquet abt as tall as quinta herself (iirc to congratulate an emmy win) and i saw people going on about how it was 'an obscene display of wealth' and how they were 'disappointed in quinta for accepting it' and i still don't get it like. ik oprah is Bad but those were just some flowers
