~Kokoro~
~ Isabela wasn’t normal, she was aware of that much. She’d been told over and over by her ‘creator, the one she had come to call her Papa, that she was as normal as any other child, but she knew this wasn’t entirely true. She wasn’t like the other little children that she’d often watch run and play outside from the safety of her home. There was something that they had that she couldn’t quite put her finger on, yet she knew it was there. Maybe the bright and sincere emotions in their eyes, the joy filled expressions that she often tried to mimic when she was alone and could never get quite right, but it was something and sometimes it bothered her so much to the point where she would almost feel real sadness.
~But that wasn’t possible either, because the truth was that she wasn’t a normal child, but an artificial intelligence, a robot, that was only made by the hands of an extremely skilled scientist to look like a child. There were limitations to what she could do and feel, and even think, though she was so well made, that even these limitations had begun to blur overtime. There were times when she began to question what about her was real and what was not. There as one thing she never question, and that was her admiration and love for the one she called her Papa.
~ That was who she was searching for now, searching throughout the house for the man, eyes scanning every room as she looked. "Papa?" She called out in a tone that could've easily belonged to any human child. "Papa? Where are you?"
