Since I have people who have followed me mainly for Aquarium Content, I must make an Official Announcement:
My six-month job is ending this week. I am leaving Maine next Friday and moving back home for the winter
However, I will be coming back to the aquarium next spring (and we will almost definitely be having a grand opening next summer. Finally)
But, for the next few months I’ll be in Pennsylvania and, as such, won’t be able to update much on cute flounders and colorful lobsters and gloopy snails
I am actually quite sad about leaving. I wish I could just stay over the winter but the job was only for six months and unfortunately my time is up. Next spring, though, I’ll be back in business and getting that damn aquarium open.
If you’re American, and you did not watch the Democratic National Convention, I think the best/most important thing to catch up on would be Michelle Obama’s speech!
Don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of really amazing speeches, but hers was uniquely articulate, touching, and empowering. It’s a speech that makes you feel hopeful and strong, but not idle in it.
I’d definitely recommend giving it a listen!
say hello to tonight's comfort items 🩵
No but seriously it fucks me up so much that every bit of journalism that covered the cru- I'm sorry ✨bioware magic✨that went on during the developments of da:i, me:a and anthem all pointed out that yes, ea was a thorn in bioware's side but what really lead to the ptsd-inducing levels of crunch was the higher ups at bioware not knowing what the fuck they wanted to do with either of these games until it was way too goddamn late and it was the developers who had to pay for their fuck around and find out approach to game design
And then everyone looked at these bits of gaming journalism and came to conclusion that "ea bad, bioware poor little meow meow corporation 🥺"
pvris is having a north america tour this summer now question is which state is the best for me to go
