i know we never got to see it for either angela or nyla when they had their babies, but i've always had this headcanon that whenever someone at mid-wilshire welcomes a new member into their family grey starts roll call with a picture of their little one, along with the standard criteria next to it, ya know, height/weight/length/etc. and then everyone does a drumroll at their tables as he does a dramatic name reveal, and i just hope that one day in the future we'll actually get to see him do so for tim and lucy. it would be so cute. 🥹🫶

what are your favorite driven headcannos?

Sorry hun, this took me like ages! Okay, here we go. Some of my favorite headcanons deal with their mental connection

Once they have the mental connection Riven starts to contact her at night checking if she's awake like "babe, are you already sleeping" and she'll be like "yes shut the fck up" and then she can't sleep for hours because her heartbeating won't stop. She just plays the cool one

Riven also got used to wishing her good night via telepathy and he sometimes still did it after the events of season 1 which confused Darcy a lot

-> Riven was mad at himself for still doing it sometimes out of routine but he found it kinda cure how Darcy cringed about it after she realized that the mental connection was still there. When she was imprisoned at Light Rock, Riven could only sense feelings from her and no actual words nor could he talk to her because Light Rock weakened her powers of course

Both blame each other for their break-up. In fact, it didn't go as it actually did in season 1. The breakup was far more angsty also Darcy went in total yandere modus when Riven said he wouldn't join the Trix after they internalized the Dragon Flame

Random headcanon time cause this game will not leave me alone for anything buuuuut…

Picture Aloy, Zo, Kotallo, Erend and Varl heading back to Plainsong, just to reup on supplies and then head right back to base. Naturally, Kotallo gets shit for being a Tenakth within their borders and Zo gets shit for allying herself with several outlanders. None of them particularly care (they’re all used to getting shit at this point so it’s just another shrugged off nuisance) and just go about their business…until some incredibly brave and stupid soul decides to mock Kotallo for his injury and who claps back? Instantly at that?

Not Aloy.

Not Varl.

Not even the loud mouthed Erend…

but Zo.

Zo reacts like someone lit a fire under her: marching up to the idiot who would dare insult a warrior in such a way, immediately proclaiming, “say that again and I’ll bury you in the dirt like the bitter seed you are.” The whole squad is a little shook but not surprised, GAIA even comments on her courage and defense of others. Calling her admirable. They leave shortly after but everyone’s a little shaken, mostly Kotallo who wasn’t anticipating her coming to his defense.

Needless to say he and Zo get a little closer after that event. Kotallo even shows up to spar with her and Erend when she invites him. Later on, Zo uses her focus and teaches him about the land gods and their sacred history while Kotallo gives her fighting tips and enchants her with old tales of his prowess.

it's jaws 50th anniversary, and i can't help but remember lucy calling tim out on his fear of open waters on that beach call they took 4x12, and i just know that man has childhood trauma associated with that movie and hates it now. 😂😂

making a personal headcanon that the nickname "kitty" derives from an obsession kitty had with "hello kitty" as a baby, so that's what eve started calling her.
