Send ☔ for my muse to let yours stay overnight because there is a terrible storm outside.
Elsa had been out, practicing her magic up in the mountains, just on her way back home when the storm reached the village. She helped children getting home, along with the guards who had been out to find her.
While every Arendelle citizen was used to the occasional blizzard, mostly during the winters, they weren’t as prepared for a strom that contained heavy rain and gusts of wind.
Eventually, when everyone was at home or had found shelter, Elsa dismissed sent the guards back to the castle to see if her sister was okay, while she helped an elderly man getting back to the inn he stayed at.
When the man was safe and sound, Elsa headed back to the castle, passing the docks on her way there, where she found one more lone stranger outside. He looked like a sailer, so she guessed the owner of the inn had rejected him; Elsa had heard there were no rooms left.
“Sir?” She yelled, still doubting if he would hear her, so she quickly moved closer. “Sir, are you alright? You have to find shelter! You can’t stay out in a weather like this! Come with me, you can stay at with us.”
Damn that bloody demon and his penchant for cakes.
It was the only reason they were in this part of this bloody realm in the first place. Cursing under his breath, Killian braced himself against the latest gust of wind, arm raised to shield himself from the rain-- not that this did him any good. This wasn’t bloody rain, it was a damned assault.
He had gotten soaked within seconds, and was having a Hell of a time navigating through it all. He could barely even see.
Was there not another inn in this blasted kingdom?
Fortunately, Killian need not search for shelter for much longer- for a well-meaning woman had decided to extend help to him. Her voice fought against the onslaught of rain and wind, and he had barely, just barely heard her. If he had not been as accustomed as he was to tempests, he wouldn’t have- but to further ascertain that she would be heard, she closed the distance between them even more so.
Oh, aside from this storm, this was his lucky day, wasn’t it?
"Oh, thank you, Miss,” he shouted above the gale, affecting an innocuous demeanour. He wasted no time in taking after her, ready to follow her in any which direction she chose. “I deeply appreciate this!”
