I’m just blabbering into a textpost as I watch 13x02 because the alternative is talking to a stuffed dragon while stabbing it repeatedly and that’s not healthy

... well I definitely missed that last time
Kentucky Fried Demon shows up in a blast of white light and does a mass-smiting, AU!Michael shows up in a burst of black smoke (dust really, from the impact, but black smoke) before pulling his glow-wings act.
World’s been turned on its head, but in both instances a return to the old “glory days” is the worst possible thing.
It’s also confirming something that I was poking at while rewatching the second half of s12 - there is no more division between heaven and hell, which is why Hell just drops from most of the storylines (and unfortunately a thread they use in writing out Crowley). Both sides, both afterlives, are looking back to the old way of doing things and that’s wrong on a fundamental level.

“God’s like my grandfather. He’s family and that’s good.” “Sometimes.” Me: *points at 14x20 and laughs hysterically*
Also my conspiracy-ometer is up to *here* for Donatello rn, a prophet of the lord shows up and asks “is God with you?” given how Chuck feels about Jack?

I cannot with 80% of this episode. I just... no. On the other hand, I’m side eying the imagery of the Shedim as compared to 14x20 so hard. Zombies. Zombies everywhere.

Someone probably mentioned back when 13 was airing, but heck I’m getting so much MoC mirroring between Dean and Jack in the end of the episode.
