u know in mongolian culture when a person dies their family will light candles placed on the deceased person’s shrine continuously for 100 days (along w other stuff) so that they won’t lose their way in the afterlife and now i’m just thinking abt baby sasuke lighting up a fuck tonne of candles in one of the rooms of now his huge house all alone with nothing but a portrait of mikoto + fugaku on their wedding day or smth and a clan group picture they took during an uchiha holiday and i’m. crying bro.

#also have u guys thought abt the fucking awful funeral that must have taken place after the massacre...#oh my god #u remember how in ed 27 there was a mass uchiha graveyard with all the headstones put closely together ahahahah #oh boy i sure hope the village actually gave the uchiha a funeral and didn't just hurriedly dispose of the bodies!!#and by bodies i mean the ones they managed to find bc obito stole a significant amount!!!#hfjfbfkf.... there'd be no one but sasuke left to enforce the uchiha's funeral traditions so aside from cremation #i DOUBT these poor mfs had their beliefs respected bc sasuke either a. didn't know the proper rites or b. was too traumatized to function #thinking abt it now sasuke probably only knew the uchiha specific stuff he learnt from mikoto and fugaku... and most of that stuff #was mainly focused on honouring ancestors etc since when mikoto's dad + sister died he was a baby so he didn't learn what to do immediately #after death #and that just leads into a whole other can of worms abt how sasuke would have to literally teach himself uchiha culture from BOOKS #bc he was so young when the massacre happened....#ughghgjg..........#im so sorry bbies......#*out of character #tw; death #tw; funerals

wh. what if the uchiha treated fugaku + mikoto like don corleone and would come directly to their house to have private meetings where they would tell them abt the discriminatory incidents they’ve suffered and beg them, face to face, to help the uchiha??

#bc not being able to have governmental positions and having ppl ur arresting make under their breath comments abt the 9 tails incident #is one thing #but having teenage members of ur clan get beaten up at parties so bad they have to get their jaws wired shut #and elderly members getting abused by drunk ppl on their way home #or active shinobi uchiha getting their missions near fatally sabotaged by their teammates #among various other things motivated by hatred + distrust for the uchiha who were purposefully made to look neglectful during the incident #and falsely believed that any single one of them caused it when the uchiha themselves suffered greatly during + after it #and having all those uchiha tell u in person all the shit they've had no choice but to endure???#it would explain why fugaku felt so deeply obligated to go through with a coup #instead of just risking being disliked and using his position as head of the clan to tell them all to deal with it #bc he couldn't look those ppl in the eye - ppl who cried in his home telling him what happened - and tell them he couldn't help them #kjshjdfkjdf nobody look at me i am going fucking insane #*out of character

to this day i refuse to believe tobirama thought making being a cop an ethnic group was actually a good idea and just did it to cockblock the uchiha from influencing konoha

yeah!!! i talked abt this a while ago but i never finished the stuff i wanted to make for it so here’s a nutshell version jfhf. hawk summons are a tradition from mikoto’s side of the family, starting with her grandmother hachiman (who was very enamored with her uncle madara’s falcons as a child). the contract then got passed down to her father, and then to her + siblings, and then to sasuke. the hawk sasuke rides, taiyo, was previously mikoto’s, and the two were extremely close bc taiyo’s egg was placed in mikoto’s crib as an infant and Bonded bc they grew up together (;ω;)b
