Okay friends! What are we thinking about Eugenides hiding under a takima bush when he realizes he's in love with Attolia and then Kamet meeting the sandal polisher hiding under a bush. Same bush, same time? Or just a coincidence? (Because there's no such thing as overthinking a MWT book.)
So, some other bush some other time: Gen falling in love and willingly going back, knowing he's probably going to get caught and then tortured and killed by the woman he loves. Or same bush, That Final Trip: Gen only just Realizing in time for her to cut his hand off. I feel like the more heartbreaking version is probably true but I can't decide which that is.
