I found an old journal from 10+ years ago and remebered I wrote down some of my OG Créa bg ideas and world building and it was SO amusing to look through bc I was only JUST dipping my toes into tolkien and had NO clue how to navigate lore. I had decent ideas to build on but it’s sooooooo funny being like “damn wtf is this girl this doesn’t work at all” and is somewhat embarrassing but still makes me smile and see how far I’ve come.
#now I’m the lore freak that literally everyone comes to for questions and advice#I love answering questions and delving into lore and working (and breaking) canon#it was SO funny th#bc I always forget but Créa was originally Dúnedain before she was ever a ranger! and it made way more sense later on for her to be a range#*ranger#but I also always had it that she died in her early 20’s so. I never explored it much until a few years later and the rest is history#I’m glad I got to let Créa live and flourish and explore her character in these last 10 years#and I am so lucky to have had so many friends and talented writers who took a chance on me to write with me#and still do!
