Pabo, you know that I'm only here for you right? But before you say anything, you're not forcing me here. I came back because I love you - because I want to stay with you. So even if I'm not that active, please don't think I'm not giving you the same attention. It's just that you're already enough for me; I'm happy as long as you're around. I know we - us - hasn't been easy on you. I'm only easy to get along with on the surface, but what's underneath... You see it, you see all of me, and you're still here. You'll never know how much that really means to me, that you saw all the things about myself that I hide, but you stayed.
I know I'm not the easiest person to be with. I know that sometimes I'm stupid, and oblivious, and demanding; I know that I'm selfish and a worry wart. Sometimes I'm really not sure why you stay with me. Because like I said before a while ago - you have this thing about you that subtlety draws people in. You're something special, and it's still incomprehensible that you'd like me. You could have let go and given up on me for so many reasons, but you've always gone for the few scattered reasons to stay, to take my hand and work things out. You've given me chances where not even I saw one to give, and that means the world to me.
Did you know, when I met you, I knew I wanted you instantly. I've always been a little reckless going in, a little too flippant, a little too quick, but you stood out to me. I wanted to keep you, to ensure I could have you for my own, and the moment you told me (reluctantly) that you liked me... I've never been so happy.
You make me happy. Above and beyond anything, you are the one thing I know will always be there to kiss my face and hold my hand and tell me things are okay, that they'll get better. I hope I'm that person for you too.
I l-word you, pabo. I love you more than I can say, but I hope that when you read this, you'll see me trying to tell you that with more than three words. With as many words as I could find, even though they all paled in comparison.
