Been feeling extremely crappy lately whenever anyone at school referred to me as a girl or woman or female etc. I’m the only non-guy in my history class which makes women’s rights lessons hell. The teacher opens every sentence directed at me with ‘as a woman’ and I just hate it so much

It’s my friends counting me as the sixth girl in our class

It’s the classmates and teachers making fun of nonbinary people while I’m sitting there trying not to lose it

It’s this huge disconnect between loving being called beautiful and hating the phrase ‘young lady’ and enjoying wearing skirts/dresses and hating my chest and it’s just so much stuff all at once and I’m just... so extremely confused

#and I can’t even tell anyone irl because they’d never understand and call me a freak or just keep calling me a girl #especially not the teachers #I miss the gay teacher assistant we had last year she would get me #I... think I’m okay when I call myself a girl or woman #like ‘I am a woman of simple needs’ is fine #and ‘girl’ is bearable when it’s like in a meme format you know?#like the ‘GIRL BYE ✋😭’ sort of thing #and I still use she/her pronouns #as well as they/them although no one has referred to me by that ever #but when other people - especially ones I don’t trust or like - call me a female etc it’s extremely uncomfortable #I don’t know what to do with myself #my sister is a treasure though she’s making a great effort at calling me a siblings instead of a sister #*sibling #gender is hard I hate it
