ok wow i'm glad to see there's been a bit of a shift in internet culture surrounding bullet journaling (and maybe other planner systems but idk) where the aesthetic effort is a bit more modest and realistic.
don't get me wrong, i love all the artistic, beautiful, creative spreads but when that's all you see it feels really bad when you can't even come anywhere close to producing anything similar.
it's majorly distracting from the functionality of a planner when you're trying to live up to an unobtainable ideal constantly. the bujo tag has even given me simple ideas to make things more aesthetic without totally breaking my body and my planning system
