Sameen chuckled and looked down at her hands. She wasn’t exactly sure what was blood and what was dirt. What she did know was that moving was going to suck ass tomorrow. “Normal day at work?” She wiped her palms on her pants, thankful that she was almost always wearing black. “I pissed off the wrong person. And, uh, we might want to find somewhere else to be before he comes back, yeah?”
Eve shook her head, but had to laugh a little. She knew those days. “Yeah, let’s I’d rather not be found and have to have my hands looking like that too.” Even if she was capable, it didn’t mean she wanted to. “So, who was it you pissed off and any suggestions for where to go? I’m not overly acquainted with these parts.”
