her eyes had to be deceiving her, solana thought, blinking twice and furrowing her brows as she spotted kesandu in the line at sweet encounter. running into people she admired always left her feeling starstruck, and it seemed her legs had a mind of their own as she found herself going right past the other patrons in line and tapping her on the shoulder. smooth. "hi, i'm so sorry, hi," she stumbled, taking a moment to gather herself and stretching her hand out to the other. "i'm solana, and it's really an honor to meet you. what are the chances i could buy whatever you're having and pick a bone with you over our treats?"

"i'll never get over the smell of a building full of books," whether it was a book store, classroom, study, or library, solana loved to indulge herself in the atmosphere of literature. stories lined the walls, all different, but almost the same, and it felt like there would never be enough time to read them all. "now if i could only figure out those damn dewey decimals," she chuckled, looking over at tamara with a grin. "they've always been my downfall. what genre are we going for, and do you think you could help me find it?"

“dory ?” solana called out, swapping her heels for fluffy slippers as she made her way into their home. this was her favorite part of the day. coming home to the familiar scent of incense burning, and her wife’s bright smile once she realized she was home. nights at the museum typically ran late, but this time she’d managed to make it home right after five, fully intending to laze with snacks and their favorite movies. coming up behind her, solana laid her arms around isadora’s shoulders, head tilting to nuzzle into her neck. “there you are, gorgeous. i almost thought i made it home before you.” with a soft kiss to her cheek, solana made her way around to stand in front of her wife, hands instinctually locking themselves into isadora’s. “do we have anything that absolutely has to get done tonight ? because i was thinking we make a big fort out of the couch and eat junk food and watch movies all night.”
