I feel like either my art has to change drastically in the next couple months or I'll stop drawing all together for a while because I'm SO unhappy with what im drawing recently I can't go on like this......

Ways to demonstrate the level of exhaustion a character has
in the format of ‘Thing (example)’
Injures self doing something mundane (sprains ankle walking up or down small flight of stairs ir on flat surface, pricks finger chopping veggies, etc)
Says one thing, means something else (*holding a potato* *says with full confidence* this is a tomato.)
Does mundane, simple task Very Wrong (places sword with the clothes and tries to stuff scarf in the scabbard)
Switches the order of two words in a sentence (the waterproof says it’s bandaid)
Zoning out. Especially mid sentence. (“As i was saying, we should, um, *zones out*)
Says things that literally dont make sense [taking an example from my dear friend Tellie this time— “two stone birds.” (<instead of two birds one stone)]
Brain goes blank/shuts down when they try to do something mildly complicated (‘quick whats 2+5?’ ‘Um. Uh. 8.’)
No inhibitions or restraint (*is not one to show much affection* *walks in, sits down next to friend/crush/lover/etc, and immediately cuddles with them and/or falls asleep*
Cant think of any more, feel free to add on! This list is mostly for my own purposes, but i figured some of y’all might find my it entertaining or useful (or give me even more ideas/ways)
I actually do really like mako and bolin but it took me longer to warm up to them bc the writers tried to hard in the 1st season to make them exact copies of Zuko and sokka and didn’t let them become their own characters until much later. Asami, Jinora, & opal all work so well bc they’re not set up to be exact copies of characters from atla
i actually JUST finished season one so that is hopeful to hear!!!
as far as the new characters introduced in LoK (so far) go, they were my biggest gripe so i am glad to hear that they change the direction of their character arcs for the better!! and i will reserve judgement on them until i’ve gotten further into the show 👀
tbh i had /some/ issues with the general plot that i am sure have been discussed by ppl plenty of times and i am not crazy about how some of the ATLA characters wound up.... BUT the show does have its moments and quite a few bright spots. korra herself especially. i completely adore her!!
I don't mind skill-based games, I think it can be a great way to foster community around them (just try asking your different gamer bros for tips on beating a level, or getting them to beat it for you and then kissing them on the mouth) but I do think that if it's a largely story-based game and you introduce a skill section Just Because you should be taken out back and shot like a lame horse
