I just want all you animals to know you've irreversibly ruined my brain chemistry. I can no longer hear "Take on me" without picturing the Sonic and Mario makeout cartoon AND WE ALL KNOW ABOUT OUT OF TOUCH-
Anyone have something, a song, book, place, animal etc you used to not care about or even enjoy, but due to it's strong association with someone you now despise or otherwise had a falling out with you can't fucking stand?
Based on some experiences I've had
Every time I see the most ridiculously niche and specific character x reader fic or request like "heeey can you write character x earthworm breeder reader uwu" or "can we see a reader with a toe lint fetish who chews on plywood" I'm struck by two thoughts; one, what the hell is going on with these people (I mean some, like the ones with specific health issues, kinks, etc are obviously self inserts) and two how the character in question would actually react in said situation. I can tell you some of them they'd NOPE out of there so fast but the poor dear author is trying so hard to make it work for the person requesting it.
Somewhere in my DNA I am but a medieval peasant for truly a simple bowl of hot cooked grains is one of life's simple pleasures
