Oh geez

There's all this foreshadowing in MotB about the spirit eater thing and it's great, but it also does some really terrible things when you're playing as a race that has bad publicity. I mean you've got Khai calling you a 'thing' and Okku's leading an army against you and if you ask him what you've done, he says: "It is not what you did, but what you are, little one. Can't you smell it? The foulness of you drives all these spirits mad."

and that twisting sense of sadness and helpless anger because it's not like he can HELP being a tiefling and does that REALLY JUSTIFY ALL THIS
