tmp’s changes, fan // (not positive)

im tired of TMP...like i need a break from it. durrr its hiatus rn. but im online and i see spoilers and stuff and its reminding me of how disappointed i am with s4b(why a love triangle-weak set up w/Jody), the changes(cast/not s3 anymore), and the writers havent really explained things to us-or show it(like how much will Danny will be there and not like popping in a few scenes in a ep. instead of like a normal ep like s4 finale. why make jody suddenly mindy’s love interest when Mindy could just date randos, make friends, or ... s4b as a couple therapy arc. i mean writers dont have to break them up or add a love triangle.) idk where TMP is it heading at or what the writers are really thinking. so i cant really trust them...sigh. 

I guess I feel shortchanged or blindsided. idk. i still like TMP! Just not like before s4b. s4b really coulda been an interesting angsty character-driven half-season (with Danny and their relationship to be stronger. The show always need to have Danny in focus,co-leading character or qualtity moments with him.). But, no...and the show changed A LOT. i dont see TMP being like s3 anymore. I see TMP like any other show that have their otp broken up or separated so many times until the finale. *i still think danny and mindy are endgame. im really bummed about it because i thought TMP was different and unique in the way how they showed D/M’s relationship. i want to not get TOO invested in it. It’s a different show now. But I still love the characters and still see smart writing in it.  idk i need a break from the show’s changes. ...yet idk how...

I know that Danny cheated Sarah and is a cheater now. But, I don’t think he would ever cheat on Mindy. He’s always wanted Mindy. He’s going crazy. He’s considering the “monorail life”. He got engaged quickly to a woman I don’t think he’s even in love with. ..All because he’s not with Mindy anymore. I just think he wouldn’t cheat on Mindy.

Watching ep 25, and seeing Jody and Mindy date,wasn’t so bad. I think because the way TMP shown them was like they didn’t take J/M that seriously. Or I keep telling myself that this ship isn’t so bad or I keep imagining them as a “nicer interesting ship”. Anyway, maybe Jody as a bf isn’t to take it too seriously? idk. This ship didn’t have a lot romantic meaningful moments like I thought it would. So, I think D/M have those moments are always will be the main ship to root for, and that the writers wrote that way.

since in s4 finale, we might get a stuck in an elevator trope thing, them being a elevator and talking it out. 

It kinda reminds me of the Pilot s4A finale- When Mindy Met Danny. They were bickering in the elevator.

writers moving story around

Based on the 4x25 promo clip, Jody mentioned he gave chlamydia to his gf. The chlamydia plot reminds me of when TMP was on hiatus till s4b or earlier, and the white board with all the spoilers. The white board, in the writer’s room, had 4x14 or 15 that mention something about chlamydia. 

I find that interesting. Maybe the rest of other work in progress episodes will be later on as in s5.  i dont remember much now and idk if this all matters xP
