Reunions | Triple Threat
A month had come to pass since the unforgiving Battle Of Five Armies. Many lives had been lost, including her kin and one so important that even those within the Woodland realm became sorrowful. Thorin Oakenshield had passed upon the battlefield, leaving one remarkable legacy to his nephews. The sadness that filled the Dwarven kingdom did not go unmissed by her own King, and thankfully a treaty was filled once more and the two races were friends once more. Or rather, allies. Friendship was stretching it in most cases. A lot of Elves, and Dwarves a like, were still bitter over the rivalry and the war itself. Tauriel, however was not one of them.
It seemed far too petty to hold such things. There were many an important thing to look at, past grievances were not on that list for the she-elf. Besides, the friendships that she had created within the traveling company months prior were too strong for her to ignore and fall into hatred of their kind, once more.
When word had travelled around the courtyard that the new Dwarven king and his brother were intent upon coming to Mirkwood for a visit, Tauriel took it into her own accordance to go out before the retrieval comity. Perhaps it was a rather daft choice, as her duties always came first but with no threat looming over the Woodland and their alliances all around; she saw no need to panic with her leaving.
As she ventured through the woods, running along the tree branches, the faint sound of bickering came upon her ears. Coy smile pressed to her features as she came to a stop, swaying just slightly from the halt. "Aierea." Musing to herself the she-elf pushed forward swiftly, dropping feet from the royal horses. Brow arched as she witnessed the two brothers bickering, over whatever it was.
"You two haven't changed."
