✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ* ARRANGED MARRIAGE SENTENCE STARTERS 3.0

The news came both as a shock and unsurprising. Dwight knew deep down that he couldn’t dance around the topic of marriage forever. He just didn’t think it would come so soon. All the details of the marriage went in one ear and out the other. The next few days would be a blur as details were being discussed. At least Dwight was given the grace of being allowed to meet his future spouse before the wedding would happen.

Dwight was in the garden, nervously plucking flowers until his lap was covered with petals. He imagined what kind of person his betrothed was. He knew how unlucky the cards could be. He could stuck with someone who was cruel or didn’t have an ounce of compassion in their bones. If you asked Dwight, he would prefer a boring stiff of a partner over someone cruel. Dwight didn’t think himself as interesting so it could work if he didn’t find anything particularly interesting about his spouse.

Dwight gulps nervously when he hears footsteps entering the garden. He stands up, the petals falling to the ground and musters a smile as best as he can. The question takes him a little off guard. Not wasting any time, huh?

“O-Oh, well, I spent a lot of time in the Palace library and the gardens.” Dwight says. “I enjoy getting lost in a good book or tending to the gardens.”

“Rose? ...You’re going to get yourself lost one of these days.” 

Rose frowned a little, getting kind of offended by that. “What is that supposed to mean? I have a decent sense of direction, Ed. I know where I’m going and can get around just fine.”

Rose never liked how Ed would always talk like he ‘knew it all’.

"Why are you covered in flour?"

"H-huh? Oh! I um, was just back home trying to bake something for a friend and I realized I was missing an ingredient so I had to run out here real quick to find it and yeah." Dusk explained with a small laugh, rubbing at the back of his neck. "U-um, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find berry powder, would you? This store is too big for me..."

"No! D-don't hurt them! Please!" Dusk yelled out, still writhing around in the grass even though now he was trapped down by another teen, a horrid memory gripping him tightly. Finally, the other's words broke through to him and his eyes finally opened back to the real world, staring up at the concerned blond above him. Instantly, his eyes began tearing up and he made a small sniffle, quickly hiding his face away in his hands so the other couldn't see him. "I-I'm s-sorry..."
