Dick didn’t see him when he was dressed up in the Nightwing suit, ready and able to take down any number of superpowered mercenaries.  Dick saw him when he was hobbling on crutches, dressed in a fancy suit with a plastic smile on his face, because a broken ankle wasn’t going to stop him from attending the biggest political gala in Bludhaven since Blockbuster died.

It had taken Dick no small amount of trouble to wrangle an invitation, even as Bruce Wayne’s son, but there was no way he was going to miss this.  Nightwing might be sidelined, but Dick could still do recon like this, and in a room with this many players, something was bound to happen.

The sight of Deathstroke in a fitted gray suit on one of the balconies, drinking a glass of champagne and eyeing the crowd like a shark staring at a school of fish, caused a stone to sink in Dick’s stomach.

He’d been expecting trouble, but not quite this much.

Dick hobbled up there as fast as he could, cursing the stupid patch of ice that had led to the broken ankle in the first place, and thankfully Slade hadn’t moved.  Dick paused and took a deep breath before entering the alcove occupied by the world’s deadliest mercenary.

“Hello, little bird,” Deathstroke said without turning around.  “I was expecting to see you, but not quite like this.”  He leaned against the railing as he turned, darting a quick glance to the cast before slowly working his way back up to Dick’s face.

I’m flying over to Anaheim with my mom for the first weekend of spring break, and I could use a few tips. I visited about 8 years back but only been to Disneyland for a day.

So our hotel is on Disneyland dr. and we can go there by foot. Most of our time will be spent there, but we’ll have a good 2 days of free time.

I was wondering if any of you have already been there and which good places are worth our while! We’ll most likely take a shuttle to Holllywood, but other than that nothing is planned! 

We like pretty much anything, from sightseeing to a relaxed day sitting somewhere chill. ☀🍹
