food for thought location. kingdom of spades town, sidewalk @cwnkijung
it’s a lovely day with great weather and even greater company.
“i think you’ll like it. i mean what’s not to like about a new restaurant opening up in town considering we don’t get to check out these places out often.”
yurye smiles as he turns to glance at kijung by his side as they’re walking down a sidewalk in town, enjoying one of the rare mornings they have off together. yurye’s going on about a new restaurant that had just opened up recently. the royal cook had mentioned knowing the owner or something and actually commending their skills as an equal chef. considering how stern and picky the royal chef’s standards were, yurye figured it would be worth it to check out some time.
he’s explaining to kijung about how excited he is that the two are finally able to spend a morning like this together considering the last time they had like that was a while ago when a pair of girls suddenly approach them.
yurye immediately offers them a bright smile before giving kijung a look as he greets them, “ladies! what honor do we have in helping you today?”
it comes naturally to yurye. being approached like this when he’s out in town and greeting them so welcomingly. through the years, especially with his status as the king’s son (despite the illegitimacy) he’s built a positive relationship with the citizens of the country of spades whenever he spends time in town. of course, it’s never to take advantage of their interest in him - although the attention is nice from time to time - but he is a prince after all and representing his country the best he can. should a pair of young lovely women greet him on the streets without needing any help, where is the harm in spending a few minutes to entertain them for the day?
when one of them asks for a picture, yurye respectfully abides for a few quick selfies before excusing himself and kijung. after all, mornings out with kijung in town were rare. they were on a timed schedule and he’d like to spend as much time catching up with kijung as he could.
“so, they were pretty right?” yurye decides to ask kijung, curious to know what his younger brother’s opinion is. it’s a sincere curious thought considering that kijung has never really asked him for advice on girls before. as a growing male, yurye can respect kijung’s privacy but even he had to admit he was a bit curious what his brother’s preferences were.
