Imagining teething soothers in the omegaverse.
I headcanon that secondary genders present during puberty, and that’s when fangs come in. Alphas have bigger fangs, think a dog’s canine. Betas have mid-length fangs, more squat. Omegas have smaller, sharper fangs, think a cat’s canine.
Anyway, imagine that growing in your fangs is painful no matter what your secondary gender is. So, a market of chews/teething soothers crop up for teens.
I’m just thinking of the ridiculous disparity there.
Like, differences that don’t even make sense. Theoretically, a block of tough, chewable rubber would do for anybody. But that kind of thing is only marketed towards alphas and betas. They’re practical, a block of solid rubber for maximum fang-sinking ability, fit for all fang types. But omegas are marketed those little rubber cases filled with water, in ‘cute’ shapes or whatever. Think small, pink lovehearts or butterflies. The kind of thing meant for babies without any teeth yet. These are marked up a hell of a lot, for what is essentially a plastic shell filled with water that will burst when a fang grazes it. And you can bet they’re sold in multipacks to make the value look better.
