There's a lot of vitriol in this response to my ask because you know it's the truth. Lewis looks ridiculous as a middle-aged man flaunting a manufactured relationship for PR. Someone else already responded to your ask, so I won't repeat what they said because they pretty much covered everything, but they're 100% correct that you completely missed my point.

The criticism isn't about Lewis not being married. It's about him being a 41-year-old stunt queen, looking for attention, while the other drivers are in real relationships that make Lewis' look that much faker. That's why George was mocking Lewis' so-called "relationship." Lewis is pathetic and corny for this, and I'm standing on that.

I think anon's point was that while the younger drivers are ticking off milestones with their genuine partners, Lewis is 41 faking a relationship for more fame, money, connections, whatever, after a decade spent chasing tail.

To me this looks embarrassing and stunted, to be frank. Peter Pan syndrome is not a flex.

You don't know if it's fake, you have no idea what goes on in these people's lives to be able to say that. Yesterday on the snark subreddit people were saying Charles doesn't love Alex, he just got married to clean up his cheater image and because he was getting to 'that age' where we are supposedly meant to be thinking about settling down. I don't think we can pretend to know how Charles really sees Alex, in the same way that we don't know what's really going on between Lewis and KK.

Peter Pan? So the only way to be mature in life is to get married and have kids? Guess what? The 1950s have called and they want you back. I'm not a fan of KK, like at all, but the one thing I'll give Lewis is that at least the relationship is age appropriate. Not constantly after someone young enough to be his daughter or decades younger than him.
