There was a shift. At first it was minute, but it slowly grew. Emotions. Pain, suffering, anguish. W-What? What was happening? She gripped what was nearest to her, the metal of a berth. Sickness began to fill her spark. Something was terribly wrong. She was nowhere near Cybertron, but the Prime knew something had happened. It transcended universes, time streams, pulling on the creator bond that she had long held dear.
And all at once, it escalated. A pained wail left the Prime, spark chamber alight with bright red. The Emberstone activated, but it was not to create. It amplified feelings, memories, thoughts. They were not her own, and deep inside, she knew whose they were. Primus.
Waves of energy left Quintus, her carefully constructed EM field shattering. And with it her control. The ground cracked beneath her pedes and she fell, servos barely catching her. One could almost see the energt as it roiled from her plating, optics and runes alight with anguish. Never before had she felt like this, even when Solus died. She tried to reach out to her creator, but the bond was too weak. It shattered, leaving a cut deep in her spark.
But it did not end there. The energy peaked, a scream ripping past the Prime’s lips that was felt through all of her creation. Perhaps the Quintessons, beasts of little emotion, even stirred at the strange and frightening call. Everything around her shattered, disintigrated, melted even. And all at once, it was over.
Primus was gone. Her creator, even not within this universe, was gone. She felt a last sliver, a trace of peace caress her processor, before the light within her chest faded. The Emberstone returned to its hibernation, leaving the Prime a hollow husk. Emergency protocols took over, and she clung to the last trace of him before everything went dark.
