It was getting tiresome; whenever he'd brainwash and send one person and their Pokemon off on their way from his cave, another two trainers would take their place. The rumors of a powerful Pokemon lying in the cave were starting to become too much for the being... so, perhaps it was time for Mewtwo to leave.

It wasn't the first time that he's had to change locations, simply wanting to find a place where he can be at peace. So, he took the opportunity when the next trainer showed up - a tourist from another region entirely. A quick read of their mind showed a tropical place with a rather warm climate. It was... intriguing. So, after wiping their memory of the encounter and forcing them to leave the cave, he would teleport himself to this new region.

Alola.

However, where he had ended up was... intriguing, to say the least. Of all of the things that could catch the Pokemon's attention, it was the large wall before him. Curiosity did get the better of him, causing him to fly up and over, before looking down on the town. It didn't seem to be in an irreparable state, but it did cause him to float down to investigate, throwing away his usual cautious attitude in exchange for a hunt for knowledge.
