Having been a slave and performer for her... abnormal abilities most of her life, Nagini should have lost hope in the world. Should have, though the moment she saw her chance to flee with intent on joining the Rebel forces where she uses her gift, which turns out to involve some sort of force positive energy (she had known thus most of her life and had been told to keep her abilities a secret, though had never had a name for them).
