I’ve been trying to avoid fusion gems that already exist in canon, but do you think there could be multiple ways for gems to create alexandrite? I found a really pretty specimen with blue green and purple that I wanna use for green quartz, rainbow fluorite and London blue topaz! (I changed Kyanite to topaz btw lmao)
Personally I’m in the camp of “Yes there’s multiple ways of creating ‘x’ canon gem fusion that doesn’t equal to the in-canon components”! My only hard and fast rule for creating gem fusions is just to have fun and pick whatever gem/mineral you think is the most fitting!
In any case if you want another gem that isn’t Alexandrite, let me know!
