something about the season 2 finale & the season 6 opening and how they both tease tommy with death, only to take it away right before the bullet is meant to hit home...

something about how tommy's death is always taken away from him right at the last second, right when hes finally accepted it and even looked forward to it. the inherent trauma of that happening not just once, but multiple times, is incomprehensible.

people have talked about how inherently fucked you would be if you were brought back to life - i think this is as close as we can get to that.
