i cannot express enough just how badly i want a parallel scene of tim and lucy confiding in their respective besties (angela and nolan) about each other. i want it to cut back and forth between them oversharing the feelings that have been brewing between them since they kissed in her apartment. i want nolan and lucy’s relationship brought up again, only for her to point out that what she feels for tim is “so much more” than whatever it was they had; i wanna see tim parallel that by confessing to angela that he’s even more foolishly in love than he was in the beginning with isabel. that whatever he felt for her — (and every woman after) pales in comparison as to what he feels for a certain dog loving, empathetic, true crime addict who weirdly loves pickles.
