I am reading playing with fire again and I have to tell you this: Olivia being taken was heartbreaking, Stella almost dying was heartbreaking but Stella actually breaking Olivia’s heart by saying that she shouldn’t be her mom anymore? I think it was the most devastating part of this story - second time it hit even harder 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Why you have to put them through this??

Listen... in my defense... I cried writing that scene too 😭

Was it evil? Yes.

Was it a necessary evil? Also yes 😈

Sometimes the characters have to hit absolute rock bottom before they can truly earn the ending, and for Stella, that moment had to be devastating enough to make her believe Olivia would genuinely be better off without her. It wasn't because she loved her less, it was because she loved her so much that she'd convinced herself she was the danger.

...Still, Olivia's little heart breaking absolutely destroyed me too 🥺🥺🫣

I’m sure it’s already been told, but I can’t quite remember who knows about Stella’s pregnancy at the current chapter’s timeline? Only gabby knows from firehouse 51 right?
