a lot of posts about talking to strangers on my dash currently so for my personal enjoyment i am going to describe my Tourism Strategy. wander into a cafe or bookstore or museum or somewhere you would probably go to anyway. browse. maybe buy a little treat. then say to the employee "I'm visiting [city], would you tell me what you think is the one thing I should see before I leave?"

this leads to some perfectly delightful conversations even though it has also led to me seeing a spiral staircase allegedly built by jesus.
