If someone asked her why she had fallen in love with him, Yamuraiha wouldn't know. She only knew that she loved this man, and there was nothing else to say...except..that he didn't love her.He was Judal, the magi of kou. He wasn't able to feel love or anything like this, and still, they were in a relationship. A secret one though, for Yamu didn't want the other generals and her king to know, allthough they probably knew that there was something between her and Judal...still, they didn't know, how deep this whole thing was. In fact it was already too late for her to back off.
The ravenhaired magi had charmed her with his grin, with his magic and with his inability to love. Since the barrier Yamuraiha had refrained to start a serious relationship. She didn't want to hurt her precious ones more than she already would. But still, she wanted to be happy with a man.And being together with Judal fulfilled everything she needed. She loved him, could spend time with him, but she wouldn't hurt him when she died - because he didn't love her back. In fact, Yamu didn't even expect him to shed a tear. She expected him to order more peaches and laugh and all these 'pathethic' humans that would mourn over her. The magican smiled slightly. Yeah, that would be him. So she guessed. How had it even started? It had been just a night they had spent together, and then there was another night and a little talking...much to Ja'Far's disapproval.
The relationship was abusive, and both knew that. Still, she stayed with him, brought him peaches and spent the nights with him - it was rather refreshing than anything else when he flew into her room, and visited her without anyone knowing. Because of him the magican of Sindria knew some more good placed to hide. Ja'Far tried to talk to her, tried to tell her not to spend more time than necessary with the magi - Yamu didn't listen. Even Sinbad warned her, only less direct. She didn't listen. It was too late. And this wasn't going to end well.
Again, this night. She felt a slight breeze and heard quiet footsteps."You are awake, I know that, stupid magican", he spoke and came closer. "I see the rukh flying around you." Slowly she turned around, smiled a little. "Hello", she just said. The next moment she felt his soft touch at her cheek. Yamuraiha just wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down to a kiss. Judal used her. He used her for his own sake. She knew that. And she was perfectly fine with this.
A while later they laid next to each other - naked. Strangely enough he didn't go, as he usually did. He stayed. As if he waited for something. But what? Quite confused she dared to snuggle up to him, playing a little with the beautiful hair of his. A strange mood. As if something would happen...and then it started. People were rushing around in the hallway and she heard Ja'Far and Sharrkan knocking at her door. "Yamuraiha, we're under attack...wake up! We need to take you somewhere safe!"Instinctively she sat up, but a hand stopped her. Klick. The door was locked. And slowly she understood. Specially, when Judal sat down on her waist and wrapped his hands around her neck, pushing her back. "My escort back to Kou is here, it seems", he spoke with a rather soft voice. "Unfortunately they won't be able to arrive at the coast this easy. The barrier, you know? I enjoyed the time though...Sorry to do that", he smiled. Oh his smile...Yamuraiha couldn't be angry at him. "This wasn't meant to be from the beginning, I knew that...", she whispered. The magican wasn't scared. She rather felt sorry for everyone who was on the island. She felt sorry for the generals and the king. I'm sorry. "Finish it, Judal. Make it quick."He started. Shortly before she lost her consciousness, she managed to whisper... "I....love you..." The last thing she saw was this irresistable grin. And his crimson eyes. Was that a tear? No. She probably imagined things.
When Sharrkan and Ja'Far broke through the door, they found her dead. Laying on the bed, and covered by a sheet. She looked as if she were sleeping and the barrier cracked. Judal was nowhere to be found.
